The Conodont Database (ConoData) aims to be an online compilation of all the published data regarding conodont systematics.
The website is directed to conodont experts and all of its data is published, making reference to each respective publication. By doing this, we hope to better organize the available information on conodont systematics, keep it up to date and facilitate the work of every conodont worker in their search for published material.

When complete (ConoData v1.0) it will feature a wide range of information (synonims, diagnosis, age range, geographical distribution, illustrations, ..., etc.) on every described conodont species. That, of course, being based on your work and ours, so we encourage you to publish material on this matter. ;)

Each successive update on the database will provide a great load of information, summarized on our Updates page. We hope to release an update each month until reaching the goal of compiling all known information on the group, which should happen by 2025. Depending on everyones contributions, of course. ;)
Contribute
Made by conodont workers to conodont workers, the database welcomes any contribution to its enrichment.

You can send us any kind of information related to the subject:
- systematic descriptions;
- photos of specimens (high-quality preferable);
- terminology of morphological characters;
- bibliographic references and/or publications in pdf format.

Warning: all the content on The Conodont Database has to be published already. We will not add unpublished material on the website, for the reason that we don't want to generate any new information with this database, only compile it and make it easily accessible to everyone.
